#84 on my 100 Ways To Be Creative list is to set an alarm on your phone (or other electronic device) to celebrate something special that happened today. The idea is that you do something awesome and then next year, when you’ve completely forgotten, you get a little beep on your phone that reminds you of something wonderful you were doing exactly one year ago.

In Chicago, April and I did some rituals. One of them was impromptu and I referred to it as a “mermaid baptism”. It involved glitter and rhinestones on our faces and blue dyed water. It was meaningful and healing.

So I set an alarm on my phone for next year to remember it!

This is us after the ritual

What would you want to remind yourself of next year?
